Decriminalisation / Ending punishment against people who use drugs
This map, courtesy of CND Blog, visually represents country positions on decriminalisation at the UNGASS of 2016. Twenty-two countries took positions that supported decriminalisation of drug use (represented in green). Ten countries were opposed to policy change (red).
The CND Blog is a project of the International Drug Policy Consortium, in collaboration with NGO partners, which aims to ensure transparency and provide live records of the discussions taking place at the meeting. The CND Blog also covered UNGASS negotiations and proceedings
