How Communities Respond

respondCommunity Drug & Rehab Projects

Community Drug Projects provide a range of services and supports to people who use drugs, their families and to the wider community. Some projects work exclusively with particular groups such as young people or women while others provide services and supports to all affected by drug use.

To find out more about programmes and projects in your community take a look at the Community Drug Projects section of this site.

Drugs Task Forces

Drugs Task Forces in local and regional areas are a partnership between the statutory, voluntary and community sectors. Taskforces work to develop and implement a drugs strategy for their area which co-ordinates all relevant programmes and addresses gaps in services.
