2007 Report of the Working Group on Drugs Rehab

The Working Group on Drugs Rehabilitation arose from a recommendation in the Mid-Term Review of the National Drugs Strategy, which was published in June 2005. The Review highlighted theneed to re-focus priorities and accelerate the rollout of some of the Strategy’s actions and a number of new actions and amendments were included. In this context, rehabilitation was identified as an area that needed to be developed, particularly in light of the significant and ongoing expansion in treatment provision in recent years. This is the report of the Working Group on Drugs Rehabiliation.
