East Coast Regional Drugs Task Force Small Grant Scheme 2010

The East Coast Regional Drugs Task Force aims to significantly reduce the harm caused to individuals, families and communities by the misuse of drugs. To establish, maintain and support services to enable individuals who misuse drugs to achieve and maintain a drug free
outcome.

The East Coast Regional Drug Task Force Small Grant Scheme was established to support community groups and voluntary organisations to develop responses to the drugs issue in their community and to increase the capacity of communities to address problem drug use in their area. This scheme come under the Prevention and Education Pillar and will be assessed by this subcommittee.

The ECRDTF now invites applications for funding under the Small Grant Scheme from suitably qualified and experienced groups/projects agencies involved in providing creative/recreational activities and the development of programmes/training/ education /research / materials and information awareness in the ECRDTF catchment area.
Grants will not exceed €5,000

East Coast Regional Drug Task Force Education Bursary

The East Coast Regional Drug Task Force is making available to individuals residing in the East Coast Region bursaries of up to €1,000 max. per bursary. The bursary is targeted at individuals interested in pursuing an accredited and approved Third Level Institution course in Addiction Studies, Community Development and Social Inclusion.
