Launch of CityWide's response to the Government's National Drugs Strategy

Speaking at the launch of CityWide's response to the Government's National Drugs Strategy, Daithi Doolan, Citywide Co-ordinator said, "It is now a fact that every city and town in Ireland is being affected by the ongoing drugs crisis yet this government sees fit to relegate responsibility for its own National Drug Strategy to that of a part-time job.

New Structures for the New National Drugs Strategy

Changes have been made in the co-ordination & institutional structures of the New National Drugs Strategy. These include the establishment of an Office of the Minister of Drugs (OMD) and the setting up of an Oversight Forum on Drugs & a Drugs Advisory Group
